FORWARD Global

Wherever you're going,
we already know someone good.

You wouldn't pick a surgeon off a billboard. But when people move somewhere new, that is roughly how they choose the person handling the largest transaction of their life: a search result, a name on a bench, a friend of a friend.

FORWARD Global exists to close that gap. Tell us where you're headed and we'll personally find, interview, and vet an agent for you, then stay with you until you're through closing.

The agent we refer you to pays the referral fee. You pay nothing extra.

What you lose when you leave

Why is finding an agent
in a new city so hard?

When you bought or sold with us, you had something you probably didn't think much about at the time. Someone who knew the market cold, told you the truth, and had a reputation to protect with you.

None of that comes with you.

In an unfamiliar market you can't tell a strong agent from a well marketed one. You don't know which neighborhoods are quietly declining, you don't know what a fair price looks like on a street you've never driven, and you have no way to judge whether the person across the table is serving you or handling you. That gap costs real money, and it costs it invisibly, because you never find out what the better outcome would have been.

We can't be your agent everywhere. What we can do is make sure the person who is, is someone we'd put our own name behind.

How it works

01

Tell us where

A city is enough to start. Timeline and budget help us match you better, but nothing is required upfront.

02

We go find them

Not a name off a list. We identify candidates, interview two or three ourselves, and verify their production rather than taking their word for it.

03

The introduction

A warm handoff instead of a lead form. The agent knows from the first conversation that they're accountable to us as well as to you.

04

With you each step

We stay in regular contact with your agent and with you, straight through closing. If it isn't working, say so and we'll fix it.

The standard

How does FORWARD
vet referral agents?

Most firms say “our trusted network” and stop there. Here is ours, so you can hold us to it. Five things, all of them, before we introduce anyone.

 Requirement
01Real production in your specific market. Your neighborhoods and your price point, not the metro in general. We ask for last year's numbers.
02Responsiveness we have tested. We measure how fast they get back to us before we trust them to get back to you.
03A commitment to regular updates. We are with you at each step, and we expect the same visibility from them that we would give you ourselves.
04Numbers we verify ourselves. Their actual closed transactions, list to sale ratios, and days on market. That data is available to us as agents and not to you.
05Would we let them represent our own family? If it isn't a clear yes, we keep looking.

If nobody in your market clears all five, we'll tell you that rather than send you someone who doesn't.

Where we reach

Anywhere in the United States. Every major metro, every secondary market, and the small towns in between.

Internationally, through our affiliation with Corcoran's global network, across Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond.

We don't keep a standing list of agents, because a list goes stale. The person who was excellent in Charlotte three years ago may have changed firms, moved, or stopped taking new clients, and you would have no way of knowing until you were already working with them. We vet at the moment you need it, for the market you're actually going to.

It covers more than buying

Selling a property somewhere else. A rental during a transition. An investment property out of state. Helping a parent downsize three states away, or getting a kid settled near campus.

If it involves real estate and it isn't here, start with us.

What it costs you

Nothing.

The agent we refer you to pays FORWARD a referral fee out of the commission they earn. That's standard, long established practice in our industry, and it doesn't change what you'd pay that agent otherwise.

We tell you upfront because you'd find out eventually, and because you should know exactly where our interest sits. We're paid only if you're taken care of well enough to actually close. A referral that goes badly costs us the relationship with you, and that's worth considerably more to us than any single fee.

Questions

What should you know
about FORWARD Global?

What is FORWARD Global?

FORWARD Global is the referral service of FORWARD at Corcoran McEnearney, the Washington DC real estate team led by Marc Cashin. When a client moves anywhere in the United States or abroad, FORWARD personally finds, interviews, and vets a local agent, makes the introduction, and stays involved through closing.

Does FORWARD Global cost anything?

No. The client pays nothing extra. The referred agent pays FORWARD a referral fee out of the commission they earn, which is standard practice in real estate and does not change what the client would pay that agent. FORWARD is paid only if the client actually closes.

How does FORWARD choose a referral agent?

Every agent must clear five standards: real production in the client's market and price point, tested responsiveness, a commitment to regular updates, verified closed transactions and list to sale ratios, and a clear yes to whether we would let them represent our own family. If nobody qualifies, FORWARD says so.

Where can FORWARD Global refer me?

Anywhere in the United States, from major metros to secondary markets and small towns, and internationally through Corcoran's global network across Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond. FORWARD vets agents when you need one rather than keeping a standing list, and can vet a market it has not used within 48 hours.

What kinds of moves does it cover?

Buying or selling a home in another city, renting during a transition, buying an investment property out of state, helping a parent downsize, or getting a child settled near campus. If it involves real estate outside the Washington DC region, FORWARD Global will find the right local agent.

How quickly will FORWARD respond?
